File Formats Supported:
We support the following software packages
/ file formats. This is an ordered list, with the preferable formats
listed at the top and the least desirable formats at the bottom:
*** Please fax us a copy of your artwork after you send the electronic file so
we can double-check the integrity of the electronic file. This is
important because sometimes fonts get substituted, graphics get stretched, and
other omissions or additions happen for no apparent reason. We just want
to make sure that we produce exactly what your are looking for!!! OUR
FAX #: 925-939-8966 ***
These formats natively store images as "outlines", "curves"
or "vectors" as opposed to bitmaps
(although they can store bitmaps too). Artwork in outline format is
most desirable because it can be manipulated (sized / stretched / cropped)
without losing quality. Bitmaps are less desirable because when we
increase the size of a bitmap, or if the bitmap was created (or scanned-in) too
small, the edges become jagged and the imprint quality suffers.
* Corel Draw 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12
* EPS / "GENERIC" encapsulated postscript - fonts
converted to curves (paths)
***Files created in Freehand can be saved as 'GENERIC
EPS' and sent to us. ***
* Adobe Illustrator 1.1, 3.0 through version CS2 Mac & IBM
* Adobe InDesign CS2 or earlier
* Postscript Printer Image, PRN, PS (Print your job from just
about any application to a postscript driver but instead of actually sending the
job to the printer, send it to a file and then send us the file. To setup
a postscript printer under Windows, click HERE .)
* PageMaker 6.0 & 6.5 IBM
* WMF (windows metafile)
* Microsoft Publisher 97
& 2003

the bitmap was created (or scanned-in) too small, the edges become jagged and
the imprint quality suffers.

E-MAIL Artwork
If you decide to e-mail artwork, PLEASE
either ZIP compress or Stuffit compress your artwork.
Compressing your artwork greatly decreases problems with email transport
programs on the web corrupting your art! DO NOT make your compressed files
self-extracting -- they will not be allowed through our firewall.
*** Note to AOL users: For some reason, the
AOL mail program tends to corrupt some files by either removing characters (at
random) or splitting files so they become unusable. If you are an AOL
user, please use either ZIP or Stuffit on your files. ***
